Atlanta Jewelry Show Review

In order to provide the fine quality jewelry, professional expertise, and excellent service our customers have come accustomed to, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes. Last week Atlanta, Georgia saw the wax and wane of the 65th Atlanta Jewelry Show, one of the largest jewelry shows in the nation. For over 60 years they have been providing retailers with access to hundreds of top brands throughout the industry, from 3D printers to watches and jewelry, all under one roof.

This show also coincided with a huge opportunity for one of our associates to take the next, big step in his continuing education. Our very own Brian Wilson was in class from nine to five studying diamond grading in preparation for his final exam and his next certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). That education is a pillar of Diadem Jewelers. We believe that in order to fulfill our mission, we must continue to learn and grow as much as we can. Our work ethic drives us to increase our understanding that we may work more excellently for our Lord and Savior and in turn, provide better service to our customers.

At the end of the week Brian passed his class and increased not only his scientific post graduate work, to include the certification of Graduate Diamonds, but also increased the value he gives our customers in his expertise and education of diamonds and jewelry. With this certification under his belt, Brian is just two classes away from the title of Graduate Gemologist from GIA, one of the most prestigious designations in our industry, second only to Certified Gemologist Appraiser from the American Gem Society (AGS).

Once his class was completed, Brian had the additional task to attend the Atlanta Jewelry Show in search of new lines and vendors for inventory at Royal Diadem. He found gorgeous silver fashion jewelry, quality swiss timepieces, breathtaking gold and diamond jewelry and even some impressive offerings for creating 3D printed models of custom ring designs for customers the same day they design a piece. It’s an exciting time for us as we seek to find pieces that are both unique and stand up to our commitment to quality in everything we stock or create.
